Job Description
- Fast-paced dermatology office has recently welcomed several new providers and need to increase our staff to accommodate growth. We are looking for medical assistants who enjoy the clinical/surgical setting.
- Candidates for this position must possess great time management and organizational skills; be motivated, committed, and dependable team players who are able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Able to set up patients in an exam room, review their medical history, explain procedures and consent patient for procedures.
- Able to set-up for all procedures with proper instruments and forms to be completed.
- Assist physician while in exam room with procedures, such as excisions, draw up lidocaine syringes and administer lidocaine injections and IM injections.
- Able to perform wound dressings and give post op instructions to patients and inform patients of biopsy results.
- Able to complete 90% of patient charting, fill out lab forms and requisition forms correctly.
- Record all biopsies, cultures performed, and lab worked requested in correct log books
Job Type: Full-Time Monday – Friday
Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, No weekends
Work setting: Clinic, In-person, Private practice
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Preferred)
