Rachel is a Chattanooga native. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2015 at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, graduating with honors. She also obtained her post master’s Adult Gerontology Acute Care certificate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2017. She began her career in the intensive care unit as a bedside RN before transitioning to cardiology as a nurse practitioner. Rachel has a passion for caring for dermatology patients. She enjoys active communication and collaborative care with her patients.

Rachel resides with her husband in North Chattanooga. In her free time she enjoys taking advantage of the wide range of outdoor activities in the Tennessee Valley. She also enjoys live music, travel, and spending time with her dog.
